SERENGETI

The Serengeti is a geographical region in Africa, spanning northern Tanzania. The protected area within the region includes approximately 30,000 km² of land, including the Serengeti National Park and several game reserves.

The Serengeti is famed for its annual wildebeest migration, when some 8 million hooves cross the open plains, as more than 1,500,000 wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the trek for fresh grazing. 7: Wildebeest

They dominate the whole number of animals in Serengeti. They are joy to watch especially when they are chased by all kinds of predators on the land and even down in the water of Mara River. About 1.5 million wildebeests migrate every year to and from Serengeti.
