Overview
Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater.
Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania. Activities will include a wildlife game drive where you
can see pythons climb trees, as well as lions and leopards among others. For the bird lovers, keep an eye for the
screeching flocks of colorful yellow-collared lovebirds, and the somewhat drabber rufous-tailed weaver and
ashy starling. These are all endemic to the dry Savannah of north-central Tanzania.
Then later drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when
some 2,5000,000 hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle
join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of
eland, Topi, Kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
Dinner and overnight in Serengeti National Park at a wild camp.
